Titusville Playhouse Announces Cast of LA CAGE AUX FOLLES
Bon soir! Bon soir! You have arrived at La Cage Aux Folles!
The show opens Friday, January 11 and plays through Sunday, February 3! Tickets are only $21 to $29 and are available online at www.TitusvillePlayhouse.com or by calling the box office at 321-268-1125.
The cast stars Steven J. Heron as Albin; Daniel McDonald as Georges; Joey Leavitt as Jean-Michel; Dani Montalvo as Anne; Jordyn Linkous as Jacob; Michael Funaro as M. Dindon & Lillie Eliza Thomas as Mme. Dindon.
Featuring the notorious and dangerous Cagelles: Taylor Case as Chantal; Luke Atkison as Hannah, Noah McAmis as Mercedes, Kevin Nolan as Angelique, Tyrique Monroe as Phaedra & Dereck J. Caraballo as Bitelle.
Cinching up the cast are Danielle Lang (Jacqueline), AJ Makielski (M. Renaud/Francis), Sarah Biggs (Mme. Renaud), Dylan Intriago (Etienne), Jacob Govatos (Tabarro), Grace Boynton (Colette) & Erica Bargas (Babette).
Artistic Director & General Manager, Steven J. Heron, stars in the production directed by Niko Stamos. The production team includes Spencer Crosswell as music director, Luke Atkison as choreographer, Trevor Peters of APA as sound designer, Luke Atkison as lighting designer, Luke Atkison as scenic designer, Jonathan Willis as props designer and Aaron Sartorio as stage manager. And features Tony Award nominated costumes by Matthew Wright.
The twenty-year relationship between Georges, a club-owner, and Albin, the head drag performer, faces a test when their son announces his engagement to the daughter of ultra-conservative political parents. To please their son, Georges and Albin agree to hide their lifestyle and play it straight for a dinner with the potential in-laws. However, Albin's different definition of normal threatens to upend the entire supper with hilarious results. La Cage Aux Folles is a fabulously fun musical about family, identity and loving who you are.
