Renowned Pianist Carol Stein To Debut New Cabaret At Winter Park Playhouse

The Winter Park Playhouse welcomes back world-renowned pianist, Carol Stein, to their Spotlight Cabaret Series May 23 and 24 at 7:30 p.m. for an evening of unparalleled entertainment.

Ms. Stein will premiere her latest solo cabaret, Accentuate The Positive, for what is sure to be a standing room only evening of smiles and remembrances during her unique one woman evening of pure enjoyment!

A native Floridian, Carol Stein has traveled the world as a popular composer and pianist for decades. Her travels as a musician have spanned the globe from Carnegie Hall in New York, to Montreux Palace in Switzerland, to The Oasis Lounge in Hong Kong.

Her unique way of spontaneously arranging pieces and turning a melody " inside out" (for example starting with classical Mozart, then tuning to bossa-nova, then Duke Ellington jazz) has made her a favorite of audiences of all ages in all languages.

Carol has been a guest solo artist with The Space Coast Pops Orchestra under the direction of Maestro Richard Hayman performing her own compositions and orchestral arrangements as well as performing the works of Marvin Hamlisch with The Jacksonville Symphony.

Currently, Ms. Stein is a resident artist at The Rose and Crown Pub in the United Kingdom Pavilion at EPCOT at Walt Disney World, Orlando, Florida. She loves sharing her passion of music with many charitable organizations such as Give Kids The World, The Jewish Pavilion, Hadassah, Jewish Family Services, The Steinway Society and many others.

"Come share an evening of musical optimism with Carol Stein! Get your tickets right away.... Carol sells out her performances very quickly!" Playhouse Artistic Director Roy Alan confirms.
