Orlando Shakespeare Theater to Host 27th Season Gala, 9/20
Orlando Shakespeare Theater in Partnership with UCF embarks on an epic quest to Camelot at its 27th Season Gala: A Royal Affair on Sunday, September 20, 2015 at 5:00 p.m. The glittering evening features tastings of Central Florida's finest food and beverages as well as thrilling silent and live auctions. Remaining tickets range from $150 - $250 per person and may be purchased by calling the Box Office at (407) 447-1700 ext. 1 or in person inside the John and Rita Lowndes Shakespeare Center, 812 East Rollins Street.
The Theater's annual fundraiser kicks off with an elegant stationed dinner inside the beautiful Lowndes Shakespeare Center. Guests will enjoy music from the UCF Jazz Chambers Group featuring Jeff Rupert, accompanied by a silent auction featuring exotic vacations, priceless experiences, and exclusive packages from the area's leading businesses.
"This year's Camelot-inspired Gala transports guests to King Arthur's Court," said Director of Development Dana Nichols. "Guests will enjoy decadent tastings and live entertainment while supporting the Theater's mission to provide the community with innovative and educational programming."
The evening continues with a live auction and paddle raise in the Margeson Theater, followed by a World Premiere cabaret performed by select members of the cast of Orlando Shakespeare Theater's SPAMALOT. The event concludes with complimentary coffee, dessert, and a champagne toast.
