After sold-out performances at Off-Broadway's Manhattan Repertory Theatre this summer, the topical play, THE BIGOT, is taking its act on the road.

In a country often divided along partisan lines, it's just in time, too.

Meet Jim an equal opportunity bigot, Jim is intolerant on the basis of religion, politics, sexual orientation, gender and ethnicity - he hates them all and is happy to let them know it. That he hasn't yet converted his adult liberal son, Seth, to be like him is a source of never-ending frustration. Well, almost as annoying as the two lesbians living next door.

But "The Bigot" is about to get the shock of his life, and so are you.

When things don't go Jim's way and his life starts to crumble in front of his (and our) eyes, something happens that changes not only his life forever, it changes everybody around him.

Scheduled 2018 performances of THE BIGOT include Colorado Springs (Funky Little Theater), Orlando, Florida (John & Rita Lowndes Shakespeare Center - Mandell Theater), Sanford, Florida (Spotlight Theater of Central Florida), Los Angeles (The Actors Workout Theater), and Fort Lauderdale, Florida (Empire Theater).

See the play that audiences are calling "redeeming," "poignant" and "Tony worthy."

"It definitely took me on a journey, the end was very redeeming," says Mike Farragher. "I think it was a journey of the darkness of humanity and then how you can redeem yourself. It pushed buttons and it provoked, I really enjoyed the process, it was really great."

"It was a masterful piece of work, very poignant to the time we are living, while using humor to tackle the extremely uncomfortable subjects of discrimination and hate," says Trena Clarke. "The writers excellently were able to show the humanity in even the most hate-filled main character and his unlikely heroism.... I won't give away the story, you'll have to check it out."

See for yourself as the show makes its way to Orlando.
