This weekend will be the first of Athens Theatre's run of "The Addams Family: A New Musical", and here are just a few of the reasons they're so proud of the show: their cast! On Friday, September 30, the audience can join the company for their traditional - and free! - Opening Night champagne toast. Sparkling cider will be available for those who are underage.


Jonathon Adler - (Ancestor/Grim Reaper/Dance Captain)
This is Jonathon's ATHENS DEBUT! Favorite credits include: Titanic (Harold Bride), The Drowsy Chaperone (Feldzieg), West Side Story (A-Rab), Memphis (Buck Wiley), La Cage aux Folles, Hairspray and Cabaret. Jonathon sends a huge thank you to Steven, Craig, Melissa, and Hunter for this amazing opportunity, and to the cast and crew for being frighteningly amazing! JS, DI, BM, NP, RO, AT - All my love, always. You are my ultimate inspiration.

Missy Barnes (Grandma Addams) is an Associate Professor of Theatre and Dance at Rollins College. She is an ATI certified teacher of the Alexander Technique and of the Michael Chekhov acting technique and has worked as an actor, director, choreographer, singer, dancer, and movement coach on numerous productions. Some of Missy's favorite recent theatrical experiences include playing M'Lynn in Steel Magnolias at Wilde Coward Company and Maria in Man of La Mancha at CFCArts as well as directing and choreographing Reefer Madness, A Funny Thing...Forum, and Into the Woods.

Stephen Brandt (Pugsley Addams) is so excited to be back at the Athens Theatre this season, working with an incredible team! You may remember him from Gypsy or Beauty and the Beast, Jr. Very recently, Stephen played the golden ticket winner, Mike TV, in Willy Wonka and he narrated Charlotte's Web, both at the Little Theater of New Smyrna Beach. Stephen loves basketball, baseball, tennis, sports statistics, and gaming. He is a proud 4th grader at St. Barnabas, DeLand. Stephen lives in New Smyrna Beach with his parents and two older sisters. He hopes you enjoy the show and tell all your friends about it!

Cullen Byrne (Ancestor) is a senior at Seabreeze High School and has been doing musical theatre for 7 years now. He started off doing children's musical theatre, and transitioned into AMT at Seabreeze. He's known for many of his comedic roles. One of his favorite roles was Sir Evelyn in Anything Goes. He's looking to pursue a career in acting for film/directing and is proud to say this is his first time being a part of the cast for the Athens Theatre. He wishes everyone broken legs.

Noa Carmel (Wednesday Addams) is thrilled to be making her debut at the Athens Theater. Noa is a proud AMDA NY alumna. Favorite credits include Wendla Bergmann in Spring Awakening in Dr. Phillips Center, Maria in the Israeli production ofWest Side Story, Kate in Zanna, Don't!, Miss Jolie in Miss Jolie, Amy in Elevators To Eden, and Cassandra in The Lost Women Of Troy. A big thank you to the cast and crew for being absolutely awesome.

Michael Vincent Cerasoli (Lucas Beineke) is thrilled to be returning to the Athens Theater for The Addams Family Musical! His favorite roles from this year include Curly McLain in Oklahoma! With the Wekiva River Players, the Purser in Anything Goes at the Icehouse Theatre, and the performer of The Tell-tale Heart in Poe Poe Poe at the Orlando Fringe Festival. He'd like to thank his family and friends for always supporting him, and for continually driving long distances to see his shows.

Camryn Chiriboga (Ancestor) is returning to the Athens stage after her debut here over the summer in Spamalot! Camryn is a senior at Spruce Creek HS where she is a proud member of the drama club and Vice President of the chorus. She has performed as Dorothy in The Little Theatre of NSB's 2015 summer production of The Wizard of Oz, as well as Lucy in A Charlie Brown Christmas. Other favorite roles include Dorothy Brown in Thoroughly Modern Millie, Natalie in All Shook Up and Pennywise in Urinetown The Musical. Camryn is incredibly excited for this opportunity to be a member of both the Athens and the Addams Family!

Christina Disla (Alice Beineke) is thrilled to be making her Athens Theatre debut in The Addams Family! She has previously appeared in Central Florida productions of Big River, The Diary of Anne Frank, In the Heights, The Music Man, Fiddler on the Roof, RENT, and Jekyll & Hyde the Musical. Christina is an alumnus of the NYU Steinhardt School where she studied Vocal Performance with a concentration in Musical Theatre. Originally from New York, she now lives in Celebration, Florida with her two poodles, Jolie and Oscar. She would like to thank the cast and production team for an altogether ookey experience while working on this show!

Donald Fields (Mal Beineke/Ancestor) is excited for his second season and seventh show at the Athens. Most recently, he played Patsy this summer in Monty Python's Spamalot. When not at the Athens, Donald is an educator in Seminole County. He'd like to congratulate this remarkable cast for bringing the very best of Central Florida to this production! It's been a true joy working with you all. He'd also like to thank his family and friends for their support.

Jordan Gago (Ancestor) is blessed to be back at the Athens Theatre. Jordan's currently a Senior at Spruce Creek High School and is proudly crowned Mr. Spruce Creek 2016! You probably recognize him from recent Athens productions such as Hans in Cabaret and in the ensemble in Legally Blonde. Jordan's recent roles include Glen Guglia in The Wedding Singer, Linus in A Charlie Brown Christmas, Nick Piazza in FAME, and Dennis in All Shook Up. Jordan would like thank his family and friends for all their un"dying" support! #FULLDISCLOSURE

Mattie Gerstle (Cousin Itt) has recently appeared on the Athens' stage in Gypsy and as Chip in Beauty and the Beast Jr. Mattie is a second grader who has been singing, dancing, and actin since the age of 3. He has also been a member of Orbit Performing Arts Academy's competition team for three years. Mattie has been in many shows with Orbit including Golly Gee Whiz, Magic in Me, Treasure Island, and Aristocratic Kids. Mattie would like to thank his parents and sister Sadie for all their support.

Jaclyn Holliday (Ancestor) is delighted to return to the Athens Theatre stage. She is a senior at Seminole High School and is involved in Destiny Show Choir, First Take Acapella Choir, and is a proud President of Troupe 3266. Her most recent credits include Ella in Cinderella, Abigail Williams in The Crucible, and she was in the Ensemble of Athens' production of Footloose. She would like to thank her family, friends, and performing arts teachers for all their love and support. She hopes you enjoy the show! S

arah Huff (Ancestor) Sarah is delighted to be making a spooky debut at the Athens Theatre. Favorite past credits include Dreamgirls (Deena Jones), Hairspray (Dynamite/Lil Inez u.s.), and Spelling Bee (Marcy Park). You can see Sarah daily in Lego Friends to the Rescue at Legoland Florida. Seasonally, she performs in O Wondrous Night at Seaworld. Thanks to Mom and Nana for their continuous support.

Scotty Leavitt (Ancestor) is excited to be back performing at the Athens Theatre. Scotty is 15 years old and attends DeLand High School as a freshman. Some of his recent productions include Seussical the Musical Jr. (Horton), Shrek the Musical Jr. (Donkey), and A Christmas Story (Schwartz). Scotty participates in DeLand High School's Theatre Troupe, Hill Street Theatre, and is involved in DeLand High's wrestling club. He would like to thank his family for all of their support.
