Marshall Ellis Dance to Host HOLIDAY CHARITY BALL this December

By: Nov. 10, 2017

Marshall Ellis (ME) Dance in Orlando will host a Christmas-themed Give ME Cheer charity ball on Dec. 17 to benefit local non-profit dance groups, events and scholarships, and to promote the arts in Central Florida.

Give ME Cheer will be an evening dedicated to dance, including performances by Dance Theatre of Orlando, Vincent Sanrocco Dance Company and special guest artists. Attendees will be able to meet professional dancers and choreographers, as well as the founders of ME Dance School, the Vincent Sanrocco Dance Company, Tap Festival of Orlando and more.

The black tie-optional evening will include beer, wine and hors d'oeuvres, as well as a silent auction and opportunities to win free dance classes, show tickets and more. Donations start at $10 and are available at giveMEcheer.com.

All proceeds will support non-profit dance organizations in Central Florida, because they rely on private donations to fund programs that provide dance instruction, events and scholarships, fostering a love of the arts in our community. Non-profits benefitting from Give ME Cheer will include Florida Dance Scholarships, I Dance Orlando Festival, Orlando Tap Festival, #KeepOrlandoDancing, ME Dance Charity and Vincent Sanrocco Dance Company. Donations are tax-deductible.

Give ME Cheer will take place from7pm-10pm on Dec. 17 at ME Theatre, 1300 La Quinta Drive in Orlando.

The Mission of ME Dance is to introduce innovative ideas through dance to create growth in the arts community. Its goal is to enrich the arts community by providing an outlet to feature talent in art through entertainment.
