DISENCHANTED! Extends Though November 3 at The Abbey

Following rave reviews and sold-out performances, DISENCHANTED! has added another week of performances at The Abbey in downtown Orlando. Previously scheduled to close on October 27th, the show will now run through November 3rd.

"We are thrilled by the response we've received from the hometown audiences and can't wait to share our 'disgruntled princesses' with Central Florida for another week," says producer of the New York production of DISENCHANTED! Don Frantz.

DISENCHANTED! features the original fairy tale princesses who are none too happy with their portrayal as damsels in distress in today's pop culture. Snow White and her angry band of storybook friends 'storm the castle' and bust out a little theme park show of their own -- one in which they actually tell the truth about happ'ly ever after. The production features Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, Belle, Hua Mulan, The Little Mermaid, Pocahontas and more. Since opening to sold out crowds and rave reviews at the Orlando International Fringe Festival in 2011,DISENCHANTED! has enjoyed blockbuster runs in Sarasota, Syracuse, New Jersey, Philadelphia, Columbia, MO, and Walnut Creek, CA. It currently is contracted for limited runs in Tampa and Minneapolis before it sets its eyes on Off-Broadway in New York.

DISENCHANTED! features music, book and lyrics by DENNIS T. GIACINO and is directed by Fiely Matias. Giacino and Matias, award-winning Orlando natives, have enjoyed great success with DISENCHANTED! throughout the United States, and are excited to bring the show "home" before its Off-Broadway debut.
