Broadway Legend Joel Grey Headlines 2018 Gala at The Garden Theatre The Garden Theatre is pleased to announce its signature gala, Encore: A 10 Year Anniversary Celebration with Broadway Legend Joel Grey presented by Orlando Health. The annual event which supports the theatre's onstage artistry and its education programs will be held on March 3, 2018 at 7:00 p.m. The evening's entertainment also includes performances by Central Florida's leading talent honoring the Garden's past and future. Tickets and sponsorships are on sale starting Friday, February 2 at 12:00 p.m at gardentheatre.org/encore.

Central Florida audiences will have an opportunity to interact with a living legend as Joel Grey offers a rare look into his life and career. Throughout the evening, Mr. Grey will take the audience behind-the-scenes, sharing recollections from his career on Broadway and in Hollywood through intimate storytelling. He'll also perform songs from over 50 years in show business including his roles in Chicago, Anything Goes, Wicked and the Master of Ceremonies in Cabaret.

Joel Grey has epitomized the show business "triple threat" for decades. His talent was confirmed when he created one of the iconic characters of film and theater-the magnetic, sinister Emcee in Cabaret-for which he won both the Tony and the Academy Award. But Grey's versatility reaches beyond music, as he has proven himself an outstanding dramatic actor on countless occasions. Grey will discuss the important role television has played in his career, from his early '50s appearances on series with Steve Allen and Eddie Cantor, to his Emmy-nominated turn on CBS's "Brooklyn Bridge" to more recent performances on "Oz", "House", and "Grey's Anatomy."

A limited number of $180 single tickets are available. VIP experience tickets may also be purchased for $350. For table packages, sponsorships, or additional details about the fundraiser, contact Linn LeBlanc at 407-877-4736 ext. 204.

Current Garden Theatre subscribers may purchase their seats today by calling the Box Office at 407-877-4736 ext. 0. Encore tickets go on sale to the general public on Friday, February 2 at 12:00 p.m. and may be purchased at gardentheatre.org/encore.
