AntiGravity Orlando and Red Fish Theatre Present A MIDSUMMER NIGHT'S DREAM
Following the success of last year's sold-out production of The Rocky Horror ShowAntiGravity® Orlando and Red Fish Theatre are again teaming up to bring Central Florida audiences an exiting new take on William Shakespeare's A Midsummer night's Dream, blending AntiGravity's world-renowned aerial and acrobatic flare with Red Fish Theatre's mission to present existing works in new ways.
This August, the young lovers of A Midsummer Night's Dream plunge into a vibrant, electric forest festival, complete with pumping music and high-flying revelers. Audiences will join the Athenian lovers as they become embroiled in the hedonistic lifestyle of Oberon and Titania, where the energy skyrockets as the aerialists fly high, resulting in a Shakespearean spectacle that will sweep the dust off of this beloved classic. Swap your traditional Shakespeare, step into a riot of colors, lights, sights and sounds - an assault on the senses that's perfect for a midsummer evening.
A Midsummer Night's Dream has been adapted by Red Fish Theatre and is directed by Adam Graham with Aerial and Movement Choreography by Dianna Castronuovo, and is produced by Daniel Stover for AntiGravity® Orlando and Jacqueline Torgas for Red Fish Theatre.
The cast features Erin Cline, Shaul Guerrero, Jonathin Vazquez, Zach Page, AlAnna Fagan, Ryan Lynch, Kristine Kuhl, Leyla Lawrence, Jenny Ornstein, Matty Hixon, Lauren Barton, Jasha Vaughn, Kathryn Fabbroni, Lili Ros Stevenson, Danika Ciullo, and the AntiGravity Orlando Ensemble of Aerialists and Acrobats.
Performances are August 18, 19, 21, 25, 26, and 28, 2017 at 8:00pm at AntiGravity® Theatre, located at 5390 W Irlo Bronson Memorial Hwy, Kissimmee, FL 34746. Tickets start at $20 and are available at https://redfishtheatreantigravity.ticketleap.com/midsummer.
