Omaha Performing Arts today announced a limited number of seats in the first two rows of the orchestra section of the Orpheum Theater will be available for $25 for all three performances of RENT, the Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award-winning musical coming to the Orpheum Theater June 3 and 4, 2017.

The $25 tickets are available for in-person purchases in the Orpheum Theater Lobby located 409 S. 16th Street on the day of each performance only. Ticket lottery forms may be filled out two hours prior to the show. The drawing takes place 90 minutes before each performance. Patrons are limited to one ticket lottery entry per person and the $25 tickets are limited to two tickets per person with valid identification. Purchases are cash only. Entrants must be present to win. Multiple entries will be voided and admission will not be granted.

The tradition of these tickets began in 1996 in New York when the show moved to Broadway after a sold-out run in a small downtown theater. The producers of the show are committed to continuing the tradition of offering these orchestra seats in each city the show will play.
