The Shelterbelt Theatre presents From Shelterbelt with Love January 17th through February 10th, 2013. Now in its twelfth consecutive year, 2013's installment of the From Shelterbelt with Love series is a collection of seven one act playlets, each centered on one or more aspects of our traditional theme of love, loss, and relationships. The scripts were selected from a pool of over 70 submissions the theatre received from playwrights across the country. The Shelterbelt was treated to a strong group of submissions from both seasoned and budding metro-area playwrights, which are well represented in this year's line-up. Five of the seven selected playwrights are either from, or have strong ties to the Omaha area.

Titles include: "Dead Time" by Mike Palmreuter of Omaha, NE; "All the Way" by Steven Korbar of Torrance, CA; "In a Good Place" by Eric J. Salonis of Omaha, NE; "The One Kiss" by Molly Campbell of Chicago, IL; "An Absurd Concept" by John C. Davenport of Seattle, WA; "Walk Me Down" by Axel Arth of Chicago, IL; and "Sloppy Seconds" by Beaufield Berry of Omaha, NE.

Our cast features Kathleen Lomax, Doug Blackburn, Liz Huse, Mark Benjamin Vondrasek, Mike Palmreuter, Jay Huse, Melissa Marie Carnahan, Kate Bacome, Katie Hurst, and Devin Tumpkin. Directors include Adam Nathan, Gary Planck and ElizaBeth Thompson. Behind the scenes you will find Stage Manager JoAnn Goodhew, Lighting Designer Homero Vela, Sound Designer/Associate Producer Dan Baye, and Producer/Set Designer McClain Smouse.
