Tracy Letts' Tony Award-winning Oklahoma-set play August: Osage County will make its Oklahoma resident-theatre premiere Oct. 7-10 at Oklahoma City Repertory Theatre.

The Broadway national tour had played an engagement in Tulsa, OK. This fall run marks the first time an Equity production was created from the ground up for the Sooner State.

Broadway's Stacey Logan (Crazy for You, Sweet Smell of Success) will return to her hometown to play take-charge daughter Barbara, who, with her two grown sisters, returns to their family manse after the disappearance of their father. There, they spar with their cancer-stricken, pill-addicted mother, Violet.

Joining Logan in the cast will be fellow Oklahomans Jonathan Beck Reed (Little Me and Roadside Off-Broadway) as Steve Heidebrecht, Emmy winner Michael Jones as Beverly Weston, Actors' Equity national councilor and regional theatre mainstay Pam Dougherty as Violet Weston, plus Ruth Charnay, Brooke Culbertson, Sarah dAngelo, Cindy Hanksa, Chris Schinske, Ben Hall, Rick Allen Lippert, D. Lance Marsh and Craig Pruitt.
