The iconic play about a "Sisterhood" of women in Louisiana during the 1980's. A "dramacom" that is guaranteed to have audiences weeping and laughing almost at the same time. This stage staple of American Theater went on to become a hit motion picture that starred Sally Field, Julia Roberts, Dolly Parton, Shirley MacLaine, Olympia Dukakis and Darryl Hannah. Studio's production, directed by Executive Director Rick Grossman, features Maryne Conner as Shelby, Stephanie Moreau as Truvy, Deana Naja as Annelle, Patrice Richardson as Ouiser, Joan St. Onge as Clairee and Lesley Wade as M'Lynn.
