When an ex-fratbro insinuates himself into an intentional community, even the world’s most sustainable co-op may not be able to sustain itself.

Tillerman House isn’t just a residence, it’s an intentional community. Members practice permaculture, live by a collectivist ethos and tend goats and beehives in the backyard. Shit is organic, sustainable, local, shade-grown, fair-trade and cruelty-free— and if it isn’t, Nell (who helped draft the bylaws) will be sure to right it. Until Leif comes along. Does the ethos of tolerance extend to an ex-fratbro who doesn’t know a zine from a zen garden? Intentions is a comedy about the lengths we will go to for both our principles and our desires—and the lies we’ll believe on the way.
