When Gabe finds out he was adopted, he goes home to see his parents in Upstate New York for the first time in nearly a year. His adoptive mother Clare doesn't want to dwell on the past, but Gabe wants answers. They embark on a cross-country road trip to find Gabe's birth parents and repair their relationship. Meanwhile, Clare's husband Glenn has been living out of his office in an attempt to hide from his failing marriage. When he falls in love with his coworker James, Glenn is forced to confront truths about himself that he has avoided for his whole life.

At times hilarious and heartbreaking, "Cobwebs" explores the bonds of family and asks what are the things we owe to ourselves and what are the things we owe to the people we love.

A staged reading will be presented on August 4 at 8pm and August 5 at 2pm at Access Theater.
