A team of young artists from Brooklyn reinvent JeanPaul Sartre's existential classic. From Nov. 3rd, theatergoers in Queens experience "No Exit" through the new-media collaborative of A Basis Productions. For 3 consecutive days, The Secret Theatre in Queens presents "No Exit: The New Jean-Paul Sartre Experience"- an art gallery within a play, which come together in a final piece: a feature-length film directed by Tom Basis. "This production gives the viewers a chance to experience a story through different art forms. We expect audience members to become familiar with the set while exploring it as a gallery, only to later view it all the better as a play" said executive producer Stephen Laing. Runtime is approx. 65 minutes. The Secret Theatre is located at 4402 23rd Street, Long Island City, NY. Ticketing through OvationTix, for ticket purchases please go to www.noexit-incamera.com .

Presented by The Secret Theatre, this new twist pushes the boundaries of how a story is told. The audience is encouraged to grab a drink and walk around on-set, which is also an art installation composed of paintings from the story, a photo series, and other exhibitions. After three days, the theatre will close and become a film set, and the feature-film of NO EXIT will be shot.Featuring Ezekiel Briscoe, TRoy Peckham, Ingrid Kullberg-Nendz and Emily Fletcher.

A Basis Production is dedicated to one thing: combining many art forms to share a single story. Founded by Tom Basis in 2008, the Brooklyn-based company refuses to be tied down by traditional storytelling vehicles. The collaborative nature constantly reimagines itself, ensuring stories that never become "stagnant".
