The Brick Theatre to Present an Interactive Performance: THE DANCE AND THE DAWN, 9/7 & 9/17

By:

Six beautiful Ladies came to the court of the Queen of Ice for a midnight ball, and there danced with seven noble Lords, all in pursuit of the True Love that could heal their hearts. The conclusion of that tale...is up to you.

The Dance and the Dawn is a piece of interactive literature: a play without a script or an audience. Thirteen players will take on the roles of nobles in a gothic fairy-tale realm, convened for a great ritual dance, who have one night to find love and redemption. Their choices and their acting will determine the shape of the story that unfolds. The event lasts about four hours, which will be taken up with dancing and dueling and courtly intrigue - and, of course, with the eternal hope of romance and joy.

The Dance and the Dawn is directed by Warren Tusk and features Kristen Hendricks and Aili Klein as the Queen of Ice, David Kowarsky as the Duke of Ash, an assortment of miscellaneous shadows, and, of course, the 13 playersthemselves.

Interactive performances are on September 7th and 14th at 8pm.

All tickets: $20 Very Limited Availability. All tickets must be purchased prior to the event with time to
prepare for the interactive performance. All tickets available at www.bricktheater.com or by calling Theatermania (212-352-3101).
