Petronia Paley reprises her award-winning performance as Dr. Selene Slater-Bernaud, a professor whose passion for Shakespeare's sonnets leads to an obsession with "The Dark Lady." After years in a trying interracial marriage, she finds herself in love with a female student and grappling with personal demons that threaten to destroy her and lead her to the verge of a psychic breakdown. Her past and present collide as she looks into the mirror to discover a buried truth.
