Staged Readings of LOVES OF PICASSO Set for MOMA's Celeste Bartos Theater Today

Veteran producer Pat Addiss (Buyer and Cellar, Love Letters) and Georganne Aldrich Heller (Howie the Rookie-Bam, Silent, Forgotten) president of Irish Theatre & Film Production ( have announced that they will join forces in presenting two invitation only, special staged readings of "Loves of Picasso" written and directed by Terry D' Alfonso. The two readings will be held today, October 9th at 2PM and 5pm at MOMA to coincide with museum's opening of the largest ever Picasso sculpture exhibit that same week. The script is based on the private life of Picasso, the women he loved and will include video installations conceived by Terry D' Alfonso.

Producer Pat Addiss is one of the most prominent female producers in theater, she is the one responsible for the number one longest running musical ever-The Fantasticks, which has played in theaters whorl wide. Addiss has produced many other notable Broadway musicals such as Promises, Promises, Little Women, Chita River:The Dancer's Life, Bridge and Tunnel, Spring Awakening, The 39 Steps and Passing Strange. She has also had some very notable Off Broadway projects including Shout, and A Christmas Story.

She won a Tony award Winner for The 39 Steps, which also won a Drama Desk Award. Recent credits include on Broadway Gigi and Love Letters, Vanya & Sonia & Masha & Spike and Off Broadway hit Buyer and Cellar and the film, Sex, Death and bowling. She is on the board of New Jersey rep, Girl Be Heard, Co Chair Oral History for League of Professional theatre Women.

Georganne Aldrich Heller is the president of Irish Theatre & Film Production. The company is a not for profit and completely devoted to presenting the work of Irish playwrights in US and UK, Ireland. Recent credits include the UK premiere of Pat Kinevane's Silent at Soho Theatre in London, Howie The Rookie by Mark O' Rowe at BAM, The Last Days of Cleopatra by Laoisa Sexton. Who's Your Daddy? byJohnny O' Callaghan. The US premieres of Silent and Forgotten both by Pat Kinevane. The Prophet of Monto by John Paul Murphy. Other credits include the smash hit Award winning site specific show, Ladies & Gents performed in Central Park's "Public Toilets", Marie Jones dark comedy, Rockdoves, Geraldine Hughes' Belfast Blues, Marie Jones's A Night in November, Jimmy Murphy's The Kings of the Kilburn High Road, Frank McCourt's Limerick On My Mind, Beckett's Molloy with Conor Lovett, The Nualas, Joseph O' Connor's Red Roses & Petrol with Frank McCourt, Kenneth Branagh's Public Enemy, Graham Reid 's Remembrance with Milo O'Shea and Frances Sternhagen. Other productions include- My Old Friends, Mother of All The Behans and many more. TV: Falcon's Gold with co producer Paul M. Heller, and the feature film, Red Roses & Petrol, with Malcolm McDowell.She was one of the original co-founders of Women In Film, as well as owning a very successful PR agency with clients such as Burbank Film Studios and CAL ARTS UNIVERSITY. Georganne serves on the Board of Directors toThe Irish Arts Center in New York where she has worked as an independent producer for over twenty years. Georganne is a Trustee on the board of The Aldrich Museum of Contemporary Art. Previously, she served as Cultural Director for the Borough of Manhattan.

Writer & Director Terry D' Alfonso resides and works in Italy and the UK as a writer, and director. Terry has worked as assistant director to Steven Frears on A Dangerous Game. Assistant director to Geiorgio Strehler at Piccolo Teatro ( Humane Theater) in MIlan. Theater productions: text, lyrics, director Tropic of the Senses ( a musical on Anais Nin) presented at Teatro Piccolo and at Theater Museum in London. Were I human, was Terry's adaptation of The Tempest for Rose Theatre in London. Co author and director of Pope Joan at Ghione Theatre Rome. Adapted and directed 8 Women by Robert Thomas. terry has received major awards including the Pirandello Award for her innovating production of The Changeling. She also conceived and directed the first series in Italy of 20 films based on true stories about divorce cases Lasciamoci Cosi for Italina National TV (RAI 2). Recent work includes her new play Suicide Live-Dying to Win, a three character immersive theater thriller, and is currently working on The Pilot and The Princess, a short film about Marguerite Chapin, based on the journals of her nephew Schuyler Chapin.
