Desperate to break a pattern of underachievement, Morgan leaves his girlfriend in America for a job teaching English in a far away country. Instead, he finds himself translating an obscure medical textbook written in a language he doesn't understand for a doctor who doesn't believe in sleep. Working day and night, Morgan discovers the exhilarating, frightening and strangely hilarious truth of what it takes to feel productive in a 24-hour world. But Morgan’s desperate quest for productivity threatens to destroy his relationship and, perhaps, kill him.

The cast features Estelle Bajou, Mark Cajigao (Broadway’s Rising Stars at Town Hall), Rachel Cornish (A Midsummer Nights Dream, directed by Austin Pendleton, at NSD Theatre) and Drew Hirshfield (DreamWorks' Madagascar national tour).

The design team features Al Roundtree (set and lighting design), Jessa-Raye Court (costume design), Matt Sherwin (sound design and original music), and Samantha Shechtman (properties). The stage manager is Debra Stunich.

Nick Starr (playwright) was an artist in residence at The Center Theatre Group in Los Angeles.
