Check out these two videos PlaidBiRD Productions have released to promote "Bird Amongst the Blossom- A Tribute to the First Blossom Dearie Songbook" downstairs at Cornelia Street Cafe on Friday March 23, 2012 at 6pm.

In the second video, Jaye Maynard sings "Sweet Surprise" from the Blossom Dearie Songbook, recorded at The Hourglass Tavern, New York, NY, May 1, 2011 with Bill Pace on Bass and David Libby on Blossom Dearie's Yamaha Clavinova.

Singer Jaye Maynard pays homage to the wised-up babydoll jazz stylings of the late Blossom Dearie, with Jon Delfin accompanying her on Blossom's own Yamaha Clavinova as Leon Lee Dorsey plays upright bass. Maynard interprets "The First Blossom Dearie Songbook" containing songs written for and by her with Bob DoroughJohnny MercerDave Frishberg and of course, Dearie herself. The show had it's theatrical debut at the United Solo Theater Festival at Theater Row's Studio Theater last fall and had it's Los Angeles premiere in two performances Upstairs at Vitello's Jazz and Supper Club February 11th and 13th in Studio City
