Join us for the second public reading of this new full length play by Justin McDevitt.

Honey Fitz is closing and only a handful of its remaining customers have even bothered to say goodbye: Bill and Charlene, divorced but reunited to settle family business; Patrick and Ginny, having one last nightcap before they marry in the morning; and Mick, the sardonic bartender with his own secrets kept tight in his pockets. Tomorrow, the demolition begins, but they find it impossible to leave the bar, and each other.

Starring Cheryl Mullings, Robert Walker Jeffrey, Bill Weeden, Jennifer Pace, and Phillip Pineno with Leo DeFriend reading stage directions.

Justin McDevitt is a New York City based playwright. Most recently, he co-wrote and directed What About Us: Living with Lymphedema, an original cabaret benefiting the Lymphatic Education and Research Network. Other productions include: Tell Me How I Did (The Duplex 2018), Submission (The Duplex 2018, Theater for the New City reading 2017, Rapidfire Bootleg Theater 2015, NYU Gallatin Theater Troupe 2013), and The True Martini (Midwinter Madness Short Play Festival). In 2018, he contributed writing to Thea K. Lammers's debut cabaret A Death Star Is Born.

The first reading of Honey Fitz was presented by Theater for the New City as part of their Scratch Night reading series in 2018.
