Gingold Theatrical Group presents THE DEVIL'S DISCIPLE as part of Project Shaw on May 19th.

THE DEVIL'S DISCIPLE, written by George Bernard Shaw in 1896, is a thrilling comedy that employs the unlikely backdrop of the American Revolution. Some of Shaw's most entertainingly iconographic characters fill out this story of revolt: of one country against another as well as of the inexhaustible battle of the human spirit -- how we choose to create and define ourselves in the face of societal expectations. In this play, we find ourselves in a 1777 New Hampshire village where Dick Dudgeon opens his heart to life. Along the way, everyone goes through profound changes of discovery, hope and strength.

The cast will include: John Bolton, Charles Edwards, Jennifer Ferrin, Larry Gleason, Edward Hibbert, Howard Kissel,John Martello, Charlotte Moore, Euan Morton, Mary Beth Peil, Dan Truman, Emily Young.

Produced and directed by David Staller, this is PROJECT SHAW's 27th presentation.

House opens at 6pm for a 7pm performance.

PROJECT SHAW performs @ THE PLAYERS: 16 Gramercy Park South (20th Street between Park & Third Avenue).
