Photo Flash: GayCo's John Loos in ADORABLE DISASTERS Debuts at Annoyance Tonight, 11/4

By:

It's the end of the world and John Loos feels fine. GayCo Productions' ensemble member John Loos debuts his first solo sketch show ADORABLE DISASTERS tonight, November 4th at 9:30pm at The Annoyance (4830 N. Broadway). He shares the slot with Andy Eninger's critically-acclaimed solo improv show Sybil. The shows run Sundays through November 25th. Tickets are priced at $10. For more information please contact 773-561-4665. Check out photos of John Loos below!

Loos-the large, Dutch costar of the runaway smash hit STEAMWERKZ: THE MUSICAL (Annoyance) and writer/costar of the critically lauded A WOMAN'S PATH (Annoyance)-dissects the hapless and vigorous destruction of the American Dream through a gender-bending, sassy and thoroughly demented show. ADORABLE DISASTERS is directed by Second City's Sabrina Harper.

Be it through an elderly woman forced to work at Wal-Mart, a creepy carwash regular, a serial killer working at candle store, a woman obsessed with new pants, or an insanely depressed and confetti-drenched Rip Taylor, ADORABLE DISASTERS examines a nation crippled by consumerism and the lengths Americans are willing to go to hold onto their dreams, long after they've been destroyed by rich people we've never met.

Loos has written and performed with GayCo Productions (www.gayco.com) in many shows including SWALLOW YOUR PRIDE, LIT!, and THE AUDACITY OF NOPE. He has also performed for Second City at Sea on the NCL Jewel and NCL Pride of America, and in December sets sail with the NCL Gem.

His pilot script MR. MAYOR is a finalist in the FOX Comedy Script Contest at the 2012 New York Television Festival. Loos also created, wrote and starred in the upcoming political web series THE LOG JAM, an inside look at the glamorous world of gay Republicans.

He is an ensemble member of Laugh Out Loud Theater (Schaumburg, IL) and ImprovAcadia (Bar Harbor, ME) and regularly performs around Chicago with his two sketch duos, JODY and Pinque Pony (www.pinquepony.com).
