Photo Flash: First Look at New Comedy NEAL BRENNAN 3 MICS at Lynn Redgrave Theatre
John Legend and Get Lifted partners Mike Jackson and Ty Stiklorius present NEAL BRENNAN 3 MICS, a new comedy written and performed by Neal Brennan. Directed by Drew Barr (War Horse, All My Sons), NEAL BRENNAN 3 MICS is currently playing at the Lynn Redgrave Theater, with the official opening on March 3rd. BroadwayWorld has a first look at Brennan onstage below!
A writer, director, producer and stand-up comic, Neal is best known as the Co-Creator of the popular TV series "Chappelle's Show." This is his New York City theatrical debut.
Using his extensive experience working behind the scenes in the world of comedy, Neal takes the stage alternating between three separate microphones, each giving voice to the various aspects of his life. In NEAL BRENNAN 3 MICS, Neal's shares his take on race, gender and contemporary heroes and hypocrites as well as stories of his personal struggles, dealing with everything from depression to relationships. Neil reveals challenges that have shaped who he is today, life as a soloist with shoddy confidence and becoming a man in the shadow of parental abuse and alcoholism. NEAL BRENNAN 3 MICS gives audiences a glimpse into the formation of a modern comedic mind - always crafting the perfect joke yet hiding from personal truths.
NEAL BRENNAN 3 MICS has set design by Randall Parsons (Blue Window), lighting design by Davison Scandrett (Drowsy Chaperone National Tour) and sound design by Jim Corona (Sleepwalk With Me).
Tickets for NEAL BRENNAN 3 MICS are $30 with premium seating available. Performances are Tuesday - Sunday at 9:30pm February 23rd till March 13th, 2016. Tickets can be purchased by visiting www.ThreeMics.com or calling OvationTix at (866) 811-4111.
