Now Entering the Crossroads of Theatre presents THE MUSIC OF Julia Meinwald, tonight, May 22nd at 9:30pm at The Duplex (61 Christopher St @ 7th Ave).

Tickets are $10 with a reservation ($12 at the door) plus a 2 drink minimum

Featuring Chad Carstarphen (In the Heights National Tour, Perez Hilton Saves the Universe), Laura Darrell (Rocket Boys, 21 the Musical), Marisa Devetta, F. Michael Haynie (MCC’s Carrie), Zachary Infante, Alicia Krakauer, Jenni Lawton (CAP 21’s The Daughters), Elyssa Brettte Mactas (Yellow Brick Road), Amanda Savan (Monday Nights New Voices), Josephine Spada, and Mathieu Whitman (Pinkalicious the Musical) with Remy Kurs on piano, Joseph Wallace on bass, and David Jolley on drums.

Julia Meinwald's musicals include Pregnancy Pact with Gordon Leary (2011 Weston Playhouse New Musical Award, 2011 Ars Nova Uncharted Series, 2011 Yale Institute of Musical Theatre, 2011 NAMT conference, 2012 premiere production at Weston Playhouse), Le Fou with Rob Shapiro and Bekah Brunstetter, Jack Perry is Alive and Dating with Harrison Rivers and Daniella Shoshan (2009 Ars Nova ANT, 2011 NYMF Next Link), and Disappeared with Gordon Leary (2008 Prospect Theatre Company Dark Nights series, 2009 Lincoln Center Director’s Lab.) She was a 2009-2010 Dramatists Guild fellow, a proud participant in the New Dramatists 2008 Composer Librettist Development Program, and a resident artist with American Lyric Theatre. Julia received her BA in music from Yale University and her MFA from NYU Tisch's Graduate Musical Theatre Writing Program. www.juliameinwald.com
