Musicals Tonight! Salutes Broadway Understudies in AT THIS PERFORMANCE

Musicals Tonight! continues its ongoing salute to Broadway and Off-Broadway Standbys, Understudies and Alternates with its next edition of AT THIS PERFORMANCE...™ to be held on Sunday, April 2nd at The Lion Theatre, 410 West 42nd Street at 7 PM.

Hosted by series Producing Artistic Director and Casting Director Stephen DeAngelis, the popular series allows performers to showcase their versatility and share anecdotes about their experiences. Performers scheduled for April 2nd are:

Britney Coleman (Understudy for the role of Betty Schaeffer in the Broadway revival of Sunset Boulevard), Ashley Perez Flanagan (Understudy for the roles of Sonya, Mary, Opera Singer and Servant in the Broadway production of Natasha, Pierre and the Great Comet of 1812), Linedy Genao (Understudy for the role of Gloria Estefan in the Broadway production of On Your Feet!); Destinee Rea (Standby for the roles of Suzanne, Georgette, Gina, Philomene, Amandine, Sylvia and Collignon's Mother in the Broadway production of Amelie, A New Musical); Lianah Sta. Ana(Alternate for the role of Kim in the Broadway revival of Miss Saigon), Antoine L. Smith (Understudy for the role of John in the Broadway revival of Miss Saigon), Sean Thompson (Understudy for the role of Joe Gillis in the Broadway revival of Sunset Boulevard) and Mckayla Twiggs(Standby for the roles of Little Anastasia and Alexei Romanov in the Broadway production of Anastasia). Musical Director/Accompanist for the evening will be Eugene Gwozdz.

At This Performance... debuted in October 2003 and to date has showcased the talents of 855 Standbys, Understudies and Alternates who have covered 3963 roles in 465 Broadway and Off-Broadway productions.
