By:

Musical Mondays Theatre Lab, Bick Goss and Frank Evans, Producing Artistic Directors, Marter Productions and Anne L Bernstein, Consulting Producer, present a fifty minute preview of TALK TO THE DEAD, the true story of Kate and Maggie Fox, 12 and 14 year-old sisters, whose prank convinced their parents that there were ghosts in their house and the movement of spiritualism was born.

The new musical from writers Patrick Cook and Frederick Freyer, (Captains Courageous, Manhattan Theatre Club) features séances, mediums, tables rising, spirit manifestations and a cast of fifteen including Sandie Rosa (Wanda's World) and Jennifer Bowles (Wanda's World) as the young Fox sisters. William Parry (Take Me Along, Assassins) plays Mr. J, a devilish guide to the musical.  Maggi Meg Reed (Beyond the Window: Confessions of Voyeurism) is Leah, a relative who suggests exploiting the sisters' gifts for financial gain.   The cast of fifteen includes Steve Routman (George Abbott's Broadway) Elizabeth Cherry (The Fantasticks), Ron DeStephano (Fiddler on the Roof-Nat'l) , Natalie Falcone,  Craig Fols (The Musical of Musicals, the Musical) Andrew LeBon (Flora, the Red Menace) Kelly McCormick (Her Song), Emily Perkins and Valerie Wright (Cats, Annie Get Your Gun).  Veteran sleight of hand artist, David Roth (All of the People, All the Time)  is Magic Consultant, Beth Falcone (composer of Wanda's World) is musical director and Kate Hancock serves as Stage Manager.

The Musical Mondays' 2007-8 season has been devoted to new work from the BMI Workshop.
