Martin P. Robinson's ALL HALLOW'S EVE Announces Showcase Presentation For Fall 2019

Martin P. Robinson Productions and Little Shadow Productions announced today that Robinson's original theatrical event, All Hallows Eve will mount a showcase presentation, with original musical compositions by Paul Rudolph (Emmy Award-winning composer, "Sesame Street" and "GLANK"), at the Connelly Theater in October 2019. All Hallows Eve is a cautionary tale of redemption, which turns a wary eye on a number of things: Horror movie clichés, musical theater, puppetry itself, the corporate mindset and "true believers."
The show's creator, Martin P. Robinson (Little Shop of Horrors and "Sesame Street") says, "Evil as an entity doesn't exist for me. Instead, it is belief in an idea to the exclusion of all fact, logic and reason that causes such chaos in the world." The production will be a music and puppet filled response to these beliefs and a highly thrilling, wholly original event. All Hallows Eve has held previous workshops at The National Puppetry Festival and while in residence at The Eugene O'Neill Theater Center with the support of The Jim Henson Foundation.
As Eve & Evan set out on their Halloween adventure, street lights begin to twist, their old familiar neighborhood begins to change and a newly discovered eerie house corrals them into ringing its doorbell. The Lady of the House appears amidst a wildly discomforting "Welcome Song" performed by a hideous collection of decorations made from children's masks, clothing, sticks, bones, toys & body parts. Thus begins the high stakes, cat-and-mouse game in which the Witch lures the siblings into an evening of "Halloween Fun" employing seduction, guilt, and fear.
Acting as a Master Puppeteer: performing and controlling the action in rooms full to the brim of unusual, fantastical and expertly manipulated puppets, the Witch does not anticipate Eve. A child of hidden strength and character who is able to rise to the challenge, Eve rescues her brother from the Witch's entanglement and end the centuries of enslavement of children's trapped souls. A response to the terrors that today's children are put through in an ever changing and questionable world, All Hallows Eve embraces the creator's love Halloween while giving young adults and big adults alike, a phenomenal evening of Halloween adventure like none other. *Photo Credit Richard Termine
