About The Show
The improvisers of MacGuffin have teamed up with the The Tank Theater for a six week run at the Off-Broadway Theater Complex. After three successful runs, MacGuffin has joined forces with the puppet improv troupe SkrappBox for this latest series of shows.The improvisers of MacGuffin perform a montage of scenes where they explore different places, people, and situations inspired an audience suggestion of a single location. True to its name, MacGuffin is always one step ahead of the audience's expectations. Its members have studied with some of the finest improv theatres in the country. MacGuffin was also an official selection at the 2010 Chicago Improv Festival, where they were hailed by Annoyance Theater co-founder and Artistic Director of The Chicago Improv Festival Mark Sutton for their "ability to find depth in the simplest things."
