MAMA AND HER BOYS Begins Tonight at Underground Theatre

Mama and Her Boys will begin performances tonight, February 18 at the new Underground Theatre, 955 West End Avenue (at W. 107th and Broadway). Official opening is February 25. Created by Ethan Paulini,Christopher Sidoli and Wendy Watson, Mama and Her Boys is a funny and poignant musical that explores the dynamic relationship between mothers, sons and families. Featuring an eclectic mix of over 25 songs from all styles and genres.
Paulini, Sidoli and Watson will all recreate their roles under the direction and choreography of Paulini. Tony nominee Linda Kline serves as script consultant with costume and production design by Shaun Daley. In addition, each week will feature a very special guest "family member" appearing with the original cast.

The first special guest will be Christina Sajous. Sajous has appeared on Broadway in American Idiot, Baby, It's You and Spider Man: Turn Off the Dark. She is currently appearing in Forever Dusty at New World Stages. Sajous will perform at both tonight's February 18 and the 25th performances. Other upcoming guest stars include Ellyn Marie Marsh (Priscilla..., Kinky Boots) and Bethany Moore (Pippin, Spider Man). Additional guest stars and a full schedule will be announced soon. The NYC run is being produced by CEW Productions in association with JD Productions.
Mama and Her Boys premiered at Cape Rep Theatre in January of 2011. Following critical and commercial success it went on to enjoy engagements all over the Northeast and has been enjoyed over 200 performances for thousands of theatregoers including an open ended run in Provincetown, MA from June-October, 2011.
