#UntitledPopMusical, the new musical conceived and written by Michael Kimmel (The Last Goodbye), with music and lyrics by Drew Gasparini (Smash) will have it's debut concert at (Le) Poisson Rouge (158 Bleecker Street, between Thompson and Sullivan), June 24th 2013 at 7pm. The concert will feature Julia Mattison (Godspell), Lauren Pritchard (Spring Awakening), Lisa Brescia (Wicked, Mama Mia), Andrew Kober (Hair) and F. Michael Haynie (Wicked, Dogfight). Produced by the Wild Project, tickets are $20 and can be purchased at the door or at www.lprnyc.com.

Dance songs, crotch shots, public meltdowns, twitter rants, little monsters, mean girls, media overload, paparazzi, drugs, clubs...any of this sound familiar? #UntitledPopMusical tells the story of the meteoric rise and fall of international pop sensation Jenna Styles, and what instant fame means now in our digital world.

The concert incorporates the various social media outlets that permeate our world and during the concert at LPR, fans of Jenna will be able to tweet about the show and see it incorporated live onstage. Rounding out the cast are Preston Sadleir (Next to Normal), Gabriel Violett (Spring Awakening), Remy Zaken (Spring Awakening) and Keith White. Music Direction is by Charlie Rosen, orchestrations by Rosen and Austin Moorehead with Moorehead (Guitar), Justin Goldner (Guitar/Piano) and Jamie Eblen (drums) making up the band. Video design by Aaron Rhyne (Drama Desk Nominee, Wild With Happy) and Production Stage Manager is Ana Mari de Quesada.

Michael Kimmel- Michael Kimmel is best known as the creator/adaptor of The Last Goodbye, a musical adaptation of Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet with the music of famed singer/songwriter Jeff Buckley. In concert form, TLG has been seen all over NYC, including The Wild Project, Joe's Pub at The Public Theater, and The Westside Arts Center (Public Theater, Prod.). In 2010, TLG had its world premiere at the Williamstown Theater Festival, where it went on to become the highest grossing production in the history of the Nikos stage. TLG will have it's next production at the famed Old Globe Theater in San Diego, CA in fall 2013 helmed by Tony nominee Alex Timbers. Michael is also the creator/writer of Turn of The Screw, a musical adaptation of the classic Henry James novella with music and lyrics by Drew Gasparini TOTS had its concert premiere at Lincoln Center in summer 2012. Michael is the librettist on PainLess, with music and lyrics by Zoe Sarnak, as well as the author of Bluebird, a country western adaption of Chekov's The Seagull, which will receive a workshop in 2013. Drew Gasparini- Drew Gasparini is an award winning musical theatre composer and a performing singer/songwriter. He has shared the stage with such acts as Jason Mraz, Third Eye Blind, and The Plain White T's. He has written the music and lyrics for his musicals Crazy, Just Like Me (winner of "Best Of Fest" and runner up for "Best Book" in the New York Musical Theatre Festival 2011), Make Me Bad (selected as PACE new musicals; book by Alex Brightman), and Turn Of The Screw (2012 workshop at Lincoln Center; book by Michael Kimmel). Drew was a contributing composer to the television series SMASH on NBC - he can also be seen and heard on Oxygen's The Next Big Thing for which he also wrote music. Drew has contributed songs to the popular one-woman, Off-Broadway show, "Hot Mess In Manhattan" and his work has been heard at Contemporary Classics New Voices in Seattle, Cutting-Edge Composers III (NYMF 2012), and many sold out Joe's Pubs concerts. The Music & Lyrics of Drew Gasparini was presented at the Kennedy Center on the Millennium Stage in June of 2012.
