Join Miss Linda Simpson and Mr. Murray Hill, two of Downtown's wittiest and side-splittingly funny Bingo Callers and Drag Legends, for an evening totally dedicated to America's favorite sit-down sport- BINGO! - as part of HOWL! ARTS PROJECT 2011 on Thursday, October 6 at Theatre 80 St Marks (80 St Marks Place).

Expect fabulous prize, bountiful banter, snappy comebacks, and a gorgeous assistant (to be announced) who will lend both a hand and a quip or two. The first card's on us and additional cards are a buck each! Prizes include ultra cool objets d'art, tickets for great shows, and household gadgets, as well as items you will immediately want to re-gift to your closest friends this Christmas. And all for a great cause - HOWL! HELP, the fund that helps uninsured artists and
performers from the EV/LES who find themselves caught up in a medical and financial emergency. Sounds like a great evening to have some righteous and riotous fun, while helping your neighbor who finds him- or her-self in dire need!

Presenting wildly diverse programming at affordable costs to the whole family, HOWL! ARTS PROJECT 2011 delivers artists of all disciplines along with a new emerging playwrights series showcasing developing and finished work. HOWL! ARTS PROJECT runs throughout October, beginning on Saturday, October 1 with Rosie's Theatre Kids in STUDENTS ON STRIKE at 1:00 PM (with additional appearances Oct 15, 22 and 29). Other highlights include the TWEED Fractured Classick WHATEVER HAPPENED TO BABY Jane Starring Penny Arcade and Brenda Bergman (Oct 8-9); UNITARD: LEAVE THE KIDS AT HOME (Oct 11); REMEMBER: THE SONGS OF Harry Nilsson
(Oct 12); a revival of PINS & NEEDLES (Oct 14-15); BOBBY THE MIDDLE-AGED CELEBRITY (Oct 19); James Rado and Gerome Ragni's SUN (AUDIO MOVIE) (Oct 22); and Thrillpeddlers in VICE PALACE: THE LAST COCKETTES MUSICAL (Oct 21-22), plus readings of new plays: Riki

vaudeville, Halloween fun, and much, much more!

This month-long series of non-stop music, film, theater, performance art, burlesque and drag entertainment, HOWL! ARTS PROJECT was conceived as a vehicle to benefit HELP (Howl! Emergency Life Project), the newly established emergency assistance fund supporting East
Village artists of all disciplines, which also provides all services offered by parent administrator: The Actors Fund. H.A.P. puts the "hap" in "happening" with an electrifying series of ticketed events
taking place downtown throughout October. In an ongoing effort to support HELP, H.A.P. presents wildly diverse programming at affordable costs to the whole family. Artists of all disciplines impart talent and pleasure galore as they showcase developing and finished work in traditional and experimental theatrical productions, gallery offerings and more.
