Kingdom Theatre Will Present Annual All Purple Awards and Brunch in Harlem
Hosts Creemel Chisholm & Harmony Bartz will lead the ceremony at Wadleigh School of the Arts
Kingdom Theatre will present its Annual All Purple Awards and Brunch on Saturday, June 6, 2026 at 1 p.m. The event will be held at the Wadleigh School of the Arts, located at 215 West 114th Street in Harlem, New York City.
The program will include an awards ceremony, brunch, and live entertainment. This year’s event will be hosted by singers and thespians Creemel Chisholm and Harmony Bartz. Honorees include actress Khadijah, playwright Susan Rowan Masters, singer and author Susan “Dr. Sue” Horowitz, and actor and film producer Edward Fee.
The event will also feature a revival of the drama CHOICES BEFORE US by Nickolas The III, directed by Robert Kay. Set in Martha’s Vineyard, the play follows a young Black real estate mogul named David whose empire collapses as a result of his decisions. The cast will include William Wright, Heidy Z., Jennifer Bonaparte, Genesis Forney, Ralph Outerbridge, Amsale Lake, and Flora “Sis Love.”
