Nalaga'at Theater will present a New York run of "Not By Bread Alone" in January/February 2013 at the NYU Skirball Center.

Nothing is impossible. First in Tel Aviv, then in London, audiences rose to cheer the world's only professional deaf-blind acting ensemble's captivating and magical tour of their inner world. As bread is kneaded, formed, and baked on stage, these extraordinary storytellers convey their memories and dreams. Transformative. Moving. Profound. Educational. Unforgettable. These are just a few of the words used to describe this once-in-a-lifetime experience that brings the theatrical and culinary arts together in an unprecedented way around one of the most fascinating human conditions mankind has ever known.

In addition to the production on stage, versions of the Tel Aviv Center's acclaimed BlackOut restaurant and Café Kapish will be reimagined locally to create a truly immersive and unique theatrical experience. BlackOut will be be open for dinner and we will be taking reservations; Café Kapish will be in the lobby of the theater and open to all ticketbuyers before and after the performances.

Performances run from tonight, January 16 - February 3, 2013 at the NYU Skirball Center for the Performing Arts, 566 LaGuardia Place, NYC. For a full performance schedule, visit www.nyuskirball.org/calendar/notbybreadalone.
