Horse Trade Theater Group (Heidi Grumelot, Artistic Director, Erez Ziv, Managing Director) will present the World Premiere of Michael R. McGuire's, It Comes From Beyond!, directed by Heidi Grumelot (The Flower Thief; Donnie and the Monsters) and featuring Horse Trade's resident acting ensemble, The Drafts.

When a Bombshell sets her sights on a Square neither her violent ex- a Hotshot- nor the Square's calculations of the world's end can dissuades her. Inspired by 1950's pulp film greats like The Creature From the Black Lagoon, Attack of the 50 Foot Woman, The Blob, Them!, and Invasion of the Body Snatchers, this play by Michael R McGuire addresses all of our 2012 fears. It Comes From Beyond! is a zany, absurdist and ultimately dark comedy that explores American archetypes, xenophobia, fate, and the monsters that lurk within us.

The production will receive a two-week engagement, December 6-15 at The Red Room (85 East 4th Street between 2nd Avenue and Bowery); Thursday through Saturday at 7pm. Tickets ($18, $15 students & seniors) are available online at www.horseTRADE.info or by calling Smarttix at 212-868-4444.
