Heiress Productions Celebrates 5th Anniversary & Announces 6th Production

By:

Heiress Productions announce its Fall Gala celebrating its 5th birthday on Tuesday, November 15th, from 6:30-8:30pm at the Soho Photo Gallery (15 White Street, NYC). The Gala will celebrate the past 5 years of Heiress Productions' shows and give the inside scoop on their upcoming show, THIRDS by Jacob Appel, which will benefit Hope & Heroes Children's Cancer Fund. Stop by the event for drinks, hors d'oeuvres, the gallery's new display of artwork, and win prizes. General Admission is $50, and VIP tickets are $75. Tickets are available for purchase in advance at www.heiressproductions.org (via PayPal) or at the door.

One of Heiress Productions' co-founders, Laura Faith, remarked, "I'm really thrilled to celebrate 5 amazing years of professional theatre shows that have done something for the cancer community. People continue to remark how unique Heiress Productions is and how much they enjoy our shows. It makes me proud that we've filled a small niche the theatre world that people are excited about. Unfortunately most people have been affected by cancer in some way or another. It's healing to do theatre for a good cause."

Heiress Productions was founded in 2006 by Laura Faith & Mary Willis White. Its mission is to produce new plays while raising awareness and relief funds for cancer organizations. Since its inception, the company has produced five acclaimed plays at Theatre Row Theaters including Critical Mass by Joanne Sydney Lessner (in support of the Lustgarten Foundation for pancreatic cancer research), Belles by Mark Dunn (in partnership with Joe's House which provides housing near hospitals for families of cancer patients), Three Movements by Martin Zimmerman (benefitting Us Too, a prostate cancer charity), Affluenza by James Sherman (in support of Miracle House, a cancer patient and caregiver advocacy program), and Jean Kerr's Lunch Hour ( to benefit Gilda's Club NYC).

Heiress Productions World Premiere of Jacob Appel's THIRDS, directed by Zac Hoogendyk, will run in March at The Lion Theatre at Theatre Row. In THIRDS, Muriel Tuck leaves her suburban home to her three adult daughters, only they cannot agree on how to divide the estate. While the two older children wish to sell the property, the youngest insists on retaining her third and starts constructing a brick wall across the living room. Can sisterly love surmount this wall? Or will the older siblings have to market two-thirds of a house? Casting and ticketing will be announced shortly.
