HEDY!! THE LIFE & INVENTIONS OF HEDY LAMARR to Return to Planet Connections This June
The most beautiful woman in the world returns to Planet Connections this summer in HEDY!! The Life & Inventions of Hedy Lamarr. Heather Massie returns in her highly acclaimed one-woman show that has toured the country with resounding acclaim.
HEDY! The Life & Inventions of Hedy Lamarr explores the life, science/inventions and person of Hedy Lamarr, Viennese-born Hollywood film star of the 1930s-1950s.
Proclaimed by Hollywood as "The Most Beautiful Woman in the World," this glamorous siren of the silver screen also invented frequency hopping and spread spectrum technology that make the world of wireless communication tick. Her invention is used today in cell phones, WiFi, CDMA, GPS, Bluetooth and a myriad of other wireless systems.
Premiering as a workshop at last year's Planet Connections Festivity, Ms. Massie returns with this lavish and powerful production.
