HB Studio Presents LOVE, ROSE A New Musical
HB Studio Theatre, 124 Bank Street, will present a staged reading of a new musical on Tuesday, June 26th at 7 pm at the HB Studio Theatre as part of their Transgressions series, which features plays selected from the 2018 Rehearsal Space Residency Applicants.
LOVE, ROSE, book & Lyrics by Renee´ Flemings and music by David Carl, is inspired by a true story of a woman overcoming challenges of loving who you love and how the truth becomes malleable when race is at the heart of the matter.
The cast features Aja Downing, Tony Ponella, Alexis Braxton, Teresa Fischer, Barbara Motuva, Charles Murray, Christian Sineath, Anthony Scavone, Donnell E. Smith, and Dave Marantz.
