Bell, Book and Candle is a romantic comedy play that ran for more than 200 performances on Broadway in the 1950s before being turned into a movie of the same name later that decade. Gillian is a nice, single girl living in New York City. She just happens to be a witch. When she falls in love with her neighbor, Shep Henderson, she is saddened to learn that he is betrothed to her college nemesis. Gillian casts a spell on Shep to make him fall in love with her, but she risks losing her powers by falling for him. Nothing is easy in love and witchcraft.
