David Lawson's play, Gloves for Guns will play Theater for the New City's Johnson Theater space as a part of the 2010 Dream Up Festival on August 8th (5PM) and August 15th (7PM).

In Gloves for Guns two teenagers find themselves in a mysterious afterlife after shooting up their high school. They are left with nothing but a baseball glove, a baseball and a mysterious portal that shows them select visions of what is happening on the Earth they've left behind.

Gloves for Guns stars Danny Tenzer (Best Actor Nominee - 2008 Strawberry One-Act Festival) and Ryan Rinkle. Michael Padden (Assistant Director - Our Town at the Barrow Street Theatre) directs the production.

Gloves for Guns plays in Theater for the New City's Johnson Theater on Sunday August 8th (5PM) and Sunday August 15th (7PM). Theater for the New City is located Theater at 155 First Avenue (between 9th and 10th Streets) in New York City. The 2010 Dream Up Festival is presented by Crystal Field (TNC Executive Director) and Theater for the New City.
