Fat Knight Theatre Presents the World Premiere of THE SUMMONING
Critically acclaimed Fat Knight Theatre, who recently produced the hit play ChipandGus at the 2016 FringeNYC and Fringe Encore Series, returns with the second production of their 2016 - 2017 Season. The Summoning, written by Charlotte Ahlin, will have its World Premiere at the Winterfest Theater Festival Competition on January 19th. Ahlin is a recent graduate of Oberlin College and a feature writer for Bustle.com. The limited run is directed by Emily Lyon, who recently directed the fall touring production of The Sword and the Stone & The Tempest for Hudson Valley Shakespeare Festival. She also served as dramaturge for the New York Times Critic's Pick, Sense & Sensibility produced by BEDLAM.
Circe and Morgan are college roommates, and tonight they're planning something strange. All they need to set their dangerous plan in motion is that final touch: a virgin vessel. Enter Lily, the last virgin on campus...
The cast features Charlotte Ahlin (The Bacchae/Edinburgh Fringe), Danielle Cohn (Women of Williams County/Hedgepig Ensemble), and Jacque Emord-Netzley (Reasons to Be Pretty/Indiana University).
