FRIGID New York presents A D'yan Forest production, I Married a Nun, February 22 – March 3 at UNDER St. Marks. Written by D'yan Forest & Stephen Jobes. Performed by D'yan Forest. Directed by Stephen Jobes.

I Married a Nun is a one-woman show that depicts D'yan's search for love and meaning in life, finding the answers-at age 77-in the smoldering cabarets and demimonde of Paris.

All performances take place at UNDER St. Marks, 94 St Marks Place, basement level. (Btw First Avenue & Avenue A)

D'yan Forest (playwright/actor) 77 years young, started early with piano, then ukulele, moved onto trumpets, drums, and the glockenspiel. Her music took her on global performances in Paris, Israel and Greece. After returning to the states, this native Boston girl moved to New York City, and has made a successful career singing in 9 languages in the tri-state area: Waldorf, Plaza, and Park Lane among others.

She has sung and performed her comedy in the demi-monde cafes in Paris, in the swank clubs in New York and the city's outskirts. For the last few years D'yan has been performing regularly at Caroline's Comedy Club, Comix, The Duplex, Metropolitan Room and the Gotham Comedy Club. Her sexy comedy act includes parodies on the uke. She recently performed her one woman show I Married a Nun at the Emerging Artists Theater Festival and Dixon Place Theatre. Upcoming festivals include the The Phoenix International Fringe Festival, Capitol Fringe Festival and The Orlando Fringe Festival. www.dyanforest.com
