Descent Presents GRAVITY - Superhero Party, Now thru 6/17

GRAVITY is a superhero party show about a broken world ruled by an evil underlord and the four heroes who band together to defeat her and save their planet. It will be presented tonight, June 7 through June 17 at House of Yes in East Williamsburg (342 Maujer St. - L train to Grand) by the Descent collaborative.

Featuring original live electronic music, live video projections, inflatable scenic installations and depth defying action sequences, GRAVITY has been devised collaboratively over the past year by an international ensemble of young artists united with the message: we will not be held down.

Written through improvisation by the ensemble, GRAVITY features Carolyn Gilliam, Karen Eilbacher, BrenDan McCarthy, Davin Mcleod, and MeitAl Moore. Music produced by Jim Cannon. Video  projections by Salome Asega. Scenic installations by Deputy Jeffery Ralston. Directed by Paul Leopold

GRAVITY runs June 7-17 at House of Yes (342 Maujer Street, Brooklyn - L train to Grand) Shows are Thursday, June 7, doors at 8pm, show at 9pm / Friday, June 8, doors at 9pm, show at 10pm / Saturday, June 16, doors at 9pm, show at 10pm / Sunday, June 17, doors at 8pm, show at 9pm. (21+) Admission is $15 and includes 1 FREE DRINK. Tickets available at the door or online at www.descentart.org.
