ROTHMAN FAIRCHILD is pleased to announce the production of Ronald Ribman's powerful, three-character, New York Dramatists Award-winning, comedic drama, COLD STORAGE, directed by Richmond Shepard. Shepard will also be reprising his award-winning Los Angeles performance. COLD STORAGE will play a 4-week limited engagement at the Richmond Shepard Theater (309 East 26th St. @ 2nd Ave). Performances begin Wednesday, August 6th and continue through Saturday, August 30th. Press are invited starting August 7th.
COLD STORAGE is set on the roof terrace of a New York cancer hospital. Shepard, who won a DramaLogue Award for his Los Angeles performance as the acerbic old Armenian dying of cancer will be joined by Dan Burkarth playing a younger repressed art dealer "in for tests." The insights into life and death, the irony of existence, as the actors play out a game of challenges and revelations is both funny and emotionally heartrending.COLD STORAGE plays the following regular schedule through Saturday, August 30th: Wednesday thru Saturdays at 8: PM.Tickets are $20.00 (students and seniors $10).For reservations please call 212-684-2690. Tickets may also be purchased in person half an hour prior to the show at The Richmond Shepard Theatre.DAN BURKARTH (Richard Landau) has had a recent string of successes with Theatre for New City's The Ghosts of 14th Street; Fox Media's Roommates; and Midlantic Theatre Company's production of Shakespeare's Henry VI: An Experiment. He currently serves on the board of directors with Turtle Shell Productions as their teen/intern coordinator and teaches commercial acting for the Screen Actor's Guild.
