Cherry Lane Studio Theatre will present the World Premiere of HIM, written and directed by Clifford Streit (Sex and The City). This comedy about outing in Hollywood stars Jon Fleming (Dante's Cove, Will & Grace), begins previews December 16 with opening set for December 23.

In HIM, hunky actor Nick Cooper has just landed his breakthrough film role and the offers from Hollywood's A-list are pouring in. The only problem: Nick is gay and his viper of an agent wants to keep him in the closet. Nick is happy to play along in spite of the vocal opposition of his boyfriend. But all hell breaks loose when a Latina bombshell is brought in to play Nick's girlfriend.

In addition to Fleming, HIM stars Todd Crain (The Vicar's Wife, Onion News Network), Lindsay Goranson (Gothan Girls Roller Derby), James Sautter, Patrick Duke Conboy, and Roxi Sorina. The production features lighting and set design by Josh Iacovelli, props by Jamil Chokachi and stage management by Charles C. Casano.

Clifford Streit has written the column Hollywood and Blind for RADAR Magazine and has been a producer on several films including American Psycho" He has written several screenplays including Beth in Venice, which is currently in pre production. He has been a creative consultant for several TV shows including VH1's "ex, Lives, and Videotapes. His first novel Greydune will be published in 2012. He is known for bringing Sex and The City to HBO while it was still running as a column in The New York Observer and was the inspiration for the character of Stanford Blatch (played by White Collar's Willie Garson).

HIM runs December 16 - January 6, Wednesday - Saturday at 7pm and Sunday at 2pm & 7pm. (Please note: There are no performances December 24, 25, or 31).
