Mothers, protect your sons! And don't miss Cougar, The Musical this month when it plays New York's Theatre at Saint Peters. The last performance for the show is scheduled for Monday, January 11 at 7:30PM.  A new musical conceived and written by Donna Moore, Cougar, The Musical features direction, choreography and additional writing by Melinda Buckley and musical direction by Rick Hip-Flores. The cast features Donna Moore, Kathleen Weaver, Christopher Hollowell and Ariel Heller.

Cougar, The Musical is the story of a newly divorced, forty-something mom who is down on her luck. Wounded and abandoned, she seeks to reinvent herself and through the influence of a girlfriend and a younger man, unleashes her inner cougar, finding self respect and empowerment.

"Demi Moore, Courtney Cox, Susan Sarandon, and Geena Davis ... the media has a lot of fun with these ladies as cougar prototypes" says Donna Moore, the creator of Cougar, The Musical. "But these women show us their inner-strength. I've been working on this show for four years. My intention is to humanize the cougar. Women in the middle of life gain wisdom and empowerment. They unleash their inner-vitality when they realize that love is ageless."

Cougar, The Musical is presented by A.C. Productions and Tony-Award winner Dan Whitten (Jay Johnson: The Two And Only, Jacques Brel...) in association with Tiger Theatricals (www.tigertheatricals.com). Colleen Finnegan is Associate Producer.
