As The Marvelous Wonderettes continues its dream run at The Westside Theatre, the production proudly welcomes its three newest Wonderettes. Kirsten Bracken joins the cast as "Suzy" and Christina DeCicco steps into the role of "Cindy Lou" on Monday, June 8. Lindsay Mendez begins as "Betty Jean" on Sunday, June 14. The three newest Wonderettes will share the stage with Misty Cotton ("Missy") in this non-stop pop musical comedy written and directed by Roger Bean. The Marvelous Wonderettes began previews on August 29, 2008 and the show celebrated its Official Opening on September 14. The musical features iconic sounds of the fifties and beyond, brimming with such classics as "Lollipop," "Dream Lover" and "Lipstick on Your Collar." The Marvelous Wonderettes is a cotton candy-colored musical blast from the past!

Kirsten Bracken appeared as Lou Ann and understudied Amber in Hairspray on Broadway. Other New York productions include Gemini: The Musical (NYMF) and Life in Plastic (American Theater of Actors). Regionally, she created the role of Flame in the World Premier of Minsky's at the Ahmanson Theater, she's also played Millie in Thoroughly Modern Millie, Maggie in A Chorus Line; Winnie Tate in Annie Get Your Gun and Babette in Beauty and The Beast (Babette). Additionally, she performs as a soloist with symphonies across the country under the direction of Maestros Erich Kunzel and Steve Reineke.

This marks Christina DeCicco's Off -Broadway debut. She recently appeared as Glinda in the National Tour of Wicked and performed the role of Elmire in Dog Run Repertory's production of Moliere's Tartuffe at South Street Seaport. Regionally appeared as Eponine in Les Miserables (Barrymore Award Winner), Maria in West Side Story, Hope in Urinetown, Belle in Beauty and the Beast, Annie Oakley in Annie Get Your Gun and Maria Elena in Buddy: The Buddy Holly Story. She has also performed in several concerts with the Indianapolis Symphony.

Lindsay Mendez is currently appearing in Everyday Rapture at 2econd Stage Theatre as a "Mennonette" to Sherie Rene Scott. She was an original cast member in the recent Broadway Revival of Grease, playing the role of Jan. Her regional/tour credits include: Footloose (Sacramento Music Circus, Kansas City Starlight), Princesses (NAMT, Goodspeed Opera House, 5th Avenue Theater), Grease, (European Tour, Fulton Opera House), Call Me Madam (Reprise!), Go the Distance, The Lyrics of David Zippel (Jazz at Lincoln Center, Kaufman Center). Lindsay is also the lead singer of the cover band, Limbsakimbo.

The Marvelous Wonderettes includes Set Design by Michael Carnahan, Costume and Wig Design by Bobby Pearce, Lighting Design by Jeremy Pivnick, Sound Design by Cricket S. Myers, Musical Direction by Michael Borth and Choreography by Janet Miller and is presented by David Elzer, Peter Schneider and Marvelous NYC, LLC.

The Marvelous Wonderettes plays as follows at The Westside Theatre (407 West 43rd Street): Monday through Wednesday, Friday & Saturday at 8:00 PM, with matinee performances on Wednesday, Saturday & Sunday at 3:00 PM.
