LUIGI: THE MUSICAL Adds Performance For NYC Staged Readings At The Green Room 42

LUIGI: THE MUSICAL will add an additional performance to its upcoming New York City staged readings, with a new show scheduled for June 15 at 9:30 p.m. at The Green Room 42. Tickets for the added performance will go on sale April 29 at 10 a.m. ET.

The staged readings will run June 15–20, marking the show’s New York debut following a sold-out run in San Francisco. Several performances have already sold out, with limited availability remaining for select dates.

Created by Nova Bradford, with a book by Bradford, Arielle Johnson, Andre Margatini, and Caleb Zeringue, and music and lyrics by Johnson and Bradford, LUIGI: THE MUSICAL is a dark comedy inspired by the story of three high-profile inmates held at the same detention center.

Blending satire and social commentary, the musical reimagines its characters as exaggerated representations of major American institutions, using humor to examine themes of media, power, and public perception.

“Luigi: The Musical uses comedy to bring deeper questions to the surface,” said creator Nova Bradford. “Why did this case garner the reaction that it did? And what happens when people stop trusting their institutions?”

The production has generated significant attention since its initial announcement, with coverage from national media outlets and a growing online following. A cast announcement is expected in the coming weeks.
