"I am thrilled to announce the cast and creative team for the World Premiere of This Space Between Us and am eagerly looking forward to sharing this beautiful comedy with our audiences. When thinking of what to produce as our main play of the season, I knew I wanted three things: a new play, one that resonated with what we have been talking about over the past two years since we last produced, and something that was joyous. We hit the jackpot with Peter's play! It deftly speaks to today's desire to do better, while at the same time is a timeless play about love and connection. all with a wicked sense of humor and deep empathy. I couldn't think of a better way to welcome our audiences back!" said Silverstein.

"The last several years have left me asking the question, what am I doing in this world apart from earning money, drinking, ogling boys, and doom scrolling? Really what is anyone doing? My conservative Cuban family? My liberal friends? And why do I feel so alone? These questions are at the heart of my new comedy about one man trying to find a purpose in an increasingly absurd American landscape." said Gil-Sheridan.

This Space Between Us is a new comedy about trying to change the world while admitting home could use a little change too. Nobody understands why Jamie wants to leave his cushy law office to work for a non-profit. His best friend is confused, his boyfriend is concerned, and his conservative Cuban-American family are sure they know what's best. As Jamie announces his plans to serve those less fortunate, one shocking afternoon at the racetrack sparks unexpected and irreversible consequences for them all. This intergenerational comedy follows a raucous attempt to reach for something more without leaving the people you love behind.
